 About kate's Little Steps

My name is Katy and I am a newly registered childminder. I am married and have 2 kiddies of my own. We live in a detached house in Katesbridge. I have spent 20 years in the financial industry and am now ready to pursue a change of career in what I have always wanted to do - have the privilege of looking after children.

At Kate's Little Steps there is endless fun for your little ones both in and outdoors. Outdoors your child will be in a large, secure garden with plenty of scope to explore. Indoors we will be getting creative with dough, painting, drawing, cutting, sticking and baking! Imaginative play, dressing up and role play. Construction toys, cars and puzzles. Also for those who like to have a bit of chill time we have a comfy sofa to snuggle up and read stories. Weather permitting we'll pack a picnic and head to the park!

I have availability both full and part time hours. Please contact me if you require a 5 day full time place as these will be available in the Autumn. If I have spaces I can provide ad hoc or emergency day care.

I offer a home from home childcare setting, my main aim is that your child will feel safe, secure and have alot of fun! :-)

I am a member of Northern Ireland Childminding Association and therefore fully insured.
I have a Level 2 certificate in paediatric first aid
Certificate in Child Protection and Health and Safety in a Childcare Setting
